Credit where credit is due!

I am all about crediting people for their work... Especially when it comes to photography.   I want to Thank Danielle Daigle for taking these photos of me.   I asked her to photograph me while I was busy doing what I love to do, shooting!   She is new to digital photography and is a little sponge!  Using her brand new camera, she  mastered shooting RAW manually in a few short hours.

It is finally complete... Well almost!  We are actually moved in,  soon to be ready for appointments.

My how she's  grown!  Little "M" has the most beautiful eyes..   

I really enjoy photographing this sweet, angelic baby..  I also really love their family!

I can't believe our baby turned 2!  look at his pure delight from blowing out the candles.  

(we relit them 5 x's,  just to see that beautiful expression over and over again.)

Moving In!!

We finally received the letter of occupancy!  We will be moving into the studio all next week. (very slowly, my husband has a broken wrist) : (

  I still do not feel like it is really happening...  I was packing the office yesterday, procrastinating .. finding old love notes from my husband, old photos of the past and then stopped packing and just filled orders instead.  I will continue today.. my back is killing me because I am not bending at the knees!  The last couple of nights I have been really sore. 

  We are in such a state of transition, please know that most photo jobs will be posted by the end of next week.   Here are  first portrait shots in the studio. 

  I will post an after photo of the finished studio, as soon as the finishing touches of paint are applied to the outside.

Tucson Firefighters catalog

The city of Tucson hired me to shoot the Tucson Firefighter recruitment catalog... CATALOG..  Not Calender!  Maybe next time!  The shoot turned out really cool. Firefighters/paramedics, these guys/gals work really hard.. I spent some time shooting up into their roll over prop and the burn room.. HOT!! SMOKE!! 

    Imagine putting yourself out there everyday, rain or shine to protect someone else's family.  Think about it..  I am so thankful for what it is they do everyday.  When our third baby was 10 weeks old he stopped breathing and had to be air evacuated to the hospital.. rescue breaths on your own baby is very scary.  Those paramedics saved his life.   Thank You!!!

pretty special kids

I am going to try to catch up on my blogging.   We have been so busy this last month... Let me start by showing some photos of a couple sweeties real close to my heart.  These shots were taken in Los Angeles.  Their dad is a professional photographer (no pressure on me!) and mom is one of my closest friends.. (still no pressure)  I am already using them all over my website.  They are beautiful, so I did not have to work very hard!  You should see their parents!

The renovations are taking longer than expected.. Cam and I are hoping to be in this month.  Here is a (before) photo of the front of our studio.

Firefly kids models

The Firefly kids jewelry website is launching simultaneously with the opening of She.we Studio.. 9/08. (hopefully!)  I really enjoyed Photographing these lovely ladies.  Introducing.. Ever, Ella, and Gracie!  Beautiful girls, and very willing models.

                             They represent the feel of firefly so well!  FUN!!  FASHION!! COLOR!!  Firefly kids has such a fun cult following (boys included)
